Bon Jovi Sells 292,000 copies of Lost Highway in 1st Week

Bon Jovi's sold 292,000 copies of "Lost Highway" in the week ended June 24 topping U.S. album charts for the first time since 1988.  The rock duo, White Stripes debut No 2, their personal best with their latest release. This is the groups biggest one week sales since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales data in 1991.

 

Scott Stapp Arrested for Assault

Well it isn't just rapper's getting arrested.  Former Creed lead singer Scott Stapp was arrested at his home and charged with assault related to domestic violence.  Reports didn't indicate who Stapp assaulted.  According to police, no one was injured or taken to the hospital.

The Smashing Pumpkins has two new members. Seems like original guitarist James Iha and bassist D'arcy Wretzky will not be joining the band for their comeback reunion.  However, Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlain remain from the original band. 

 

Brad Delp - Lead Singer of Boston Has Died

Brad Delp, the lead singer for the band Boston, has died at the age of 55. The singer was found dead Friday in his home in southern New Hampshire. Brad Delp was born in Danvers, Massachusetts, with his interest in music beginning at 13 years old, when he purchased a guitar after seeing the Beatles perform on The Ed Sullivan Show.

 

Pete Doherty Banned From Driving

What is up with Pete Doherty? He has been banned from driving for two months announced at a court hearing in London, England. Doherty was also fined $600 in court after he was charged with driving without insurance or a license. Doherty was warned that he will be sent to prison if he repeats the offense. Ouch! Isn't prison a little too harsh? It's not like he was driving drunk. Those Brits I tell you.

Moss Denies Being Married to Doherty

British newspapers previously reported that Supermodel Kate Moss and rocker Pete Doherty had tied the knot during a candlelit Buddhist ceremony in Thailand on New Year's Day. Newspapers, the Sun and the Daily Mirror didn't provide sources for the information. The Mirror quoted an unnamed friend of Moss as saying the ceremony was an expression of the couple's mutual devotion.

 

McCartney Working On Stage Show About His Early Life

Paul McCartney is collaborating with a cousin on a stage show about his early life, the Daily Telegraph has reported.
