Great news for R&B Superstar R. Kelly! Today a jury acquitted him of all charges in his child pornography case. The jury found that he did not make an explicit videotape showing him having sex with a 13 year old girl who called him "godfather." R. Kelly cried and whispered "thank you Jesus" several times after each not guilty finding was announced in the 14-count case. If he was found guilty, Kelly could have faced a 15-year prison term.

Well it’s about time they get the show on the road with the R. Kelly child pornography trial. How many years have it been? Too many to count! The jury has been selected which consists of 8 whites and 4 blacks. However, since the jury selection began five days ago R. Kelly's defense team has accused the prosecutors of intentionally striking minorities from the jury pool in favor of whites.

R. Kelly missed his court date (for his child pornography case) yesterday in Chicago and was threatened with an arrest warrant due to his tour buses being ordered off the road for eight hours in Utah. Kelly's four tour busses were pulled over after police clocked them going 100 mph. When police officers checked the buses' log books they found that the drivers didn't document enough rest time. The drivers also seemed fatigued. As a result, R. Kelly missed his court date.

Chicago Circuit Court Judge Vincent Gaughan ruled last Friday in the R. Kelly case that prosecutors won't be allowed to have an expert testify that child victims of sexual abuse sometimes deny the abuse ever happened. The doctor was to testify that underage victims of pornography often respond to the trauma by delaying a cry for help.

His latest album "Double Up" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 album chart after selling 385,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. R. Kelly has been around for years and is still producing hit records. All 10 of his studio albums have made it to either No. 1 or No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

What the hell is going on with 40 year old R. Kelly's (A.K.A. Robert Sylvester) child pornography case? Kelly has been putting out hits and videos as if nothing has been going for the past several years. Since the incident Kelly has had several hits and awards but no trail. Is it still on? Did the government forget about it?
