Lil Wayne is on fire! The cough syrup sipper's latest CD, "Tha Carter III," has sold about 3 million copies last year to become 2008's best-selling album.

Although, Wayne's only sold 2.88 million copies, it's the first time since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991 that the best-selling album of a calendar year sold less than 3 million copies.

He was arrested yesterday, after police dogs went through his tour bus and sniffed out multiple drugs; including cocaine and ecstasy.

Rappers Lil Wayne and Ja Rule were both arrested Sunday in separate incidents following Wayne’s concert in New York. They are both out on bond and claiming that the guns found in their cases were not theirs.
