Beyonce is being sued by former Destiny's Child star Des'ree. According to reports, Des'ree is suing for damages ($150,000) for the use of the song "I'm Kissing You," which was originally recorded by the '90s British soul diva. The lawsuit filed in Manhattan's Federal Court yesterday also is requests as immediate end to the distribution of the song.

If Beyonce's song "Listen" from the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack win an Oscar for best original song, she will not go home with a golden statue as one of the four writers of the tune according to a report on eurweb.com. According to Academy rules: "No more than two statuettes will normally be given in the Original Song category. A third statuette may be awarded when there are three essentially equal contributors to a song."
