Michael Jackson Will Finally Be Laid to Rest Today

 | After two months of his passing, Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest. The King-of-Pop is scheduled to be buried today in a private sunset ceremony at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. Michael Jackson is to be interred at a 7 p.m. service inside the cemetery's massive Great Mausoleum. The mausoleum is an elaborate neo-classical building inspired by Genoa's famous Campo Santo. |
The service will attended only by close family and friends who will lay the superstar to rest in a gold-plated casket that will be placed in a private section of the mausoleum. The mausoleum is home to the final resting places of famous names from Hollywood's golden age such as Clark Gable, Jean Harlow and Carole Lombard.
