She reported last week that Raymond suffered cardiac arrest during anesthesia prior to a liposuction procedure. In less than a minute, she was revived with heart massage and was placed in an induced coma. She was then taken to the intensive-care unit. Then she was transferred to Sirio-Libanes hospital for recovery.
A news variety program in Brazil, ”The Fantastics” reported that Raymond told the surgeon that her youngest son was four months old, instead of two months old. According to the president of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, a patient should not undergo plastic surgery less than six months after giving birth because "after a pregnancy, the abdomen muscle is violently stretched, becomes flaccid and swells. The patient needs six to eight months to return to normal and only then can undergo surgery."
