Usher's Family Emergency

 | R&B superstar Usher was slated to perform at a pre-Grammy’s party honoring label head Clive Davis on Saturday night, but he cancelled last minute due to a “serious family emergency”. Usher’s reps would not comment on the specifics. There have been internet reports of his wife, Tameka Foster Raymond’s death, but those are unsubstantiated. Access Hollywood reports that she did suffer an injury due complications from a cosmetic procedure performed in Brazil. |
On Sunday, Clive Davis spoke to People Magazine stating “I talked to his mom. My thoughts are with them, whatever they’re facing.”
The couple, who have been married since August 2007, just recently welcomed their second child together in December. Tameka Foster has three children from a previous relationship.
