Suge Knight in Another Fight

 | Legendary Death Row Records CEO Marion “Suge” Knight took a beating early Monday morning in Scottsdale, Arizona, as reported by TMZ.com. The alleged assailant has ties to Akon. Apparently, Akon hosted the 944 Magazine All-Star Weekend Wrap-up Celebration at the W Hotel. According to the website, cops were called to the scene by hotel security, who reported that a fight seemed to be brewing between to groups in the VIP section. |
Scottsdale Police Department reported that officers arrived to find a man punching Knight in the head. They used tasers to try and stop the fight, and Knight was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.
The suspect is Robert Carnes, Jr. He has been charged with one count of felony aggravated assault, ruled a felony because of the severity of Knight’s injuries. Police also arrested another man and charged him with one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Although police originally stated that Carnes was Akon’s business manager, the singer’s publicist released the following statement; "He is not Akon's business manager, David Bolno is. He is with Akon's camp."
This is not Suge Knight’s first publicized brawl. Last Spring, Knight was knocked out at an LA nightclub by a barber from South Central.
