Rihanna Released from the Hospital & is Recovering

 | R&B star Rihanna, who was recovering at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, was released Monday evening, and is now reportedly back in her hometown in Barbados. Rihanna had been hospitalized for injuries allegedly from singer Chris Brown. She was said to arrive at the hospital on Sunday with contusions, a black eye, a split lip, and a bloody nose. |
Reports are also coming in that Rihanna told police Brown threatened to kill her and choked her until she lost consciousness. Officers took photos of the victim at the scene and later at the hospital, and presented them as evidence to the D.A.
The pair had been arguing in a car after a pre-Grammy party just after midnight on Sunday, and the fight escalated and became physical when they exited the car. A source states that Rihanna was reluctant to reveal what the couple was arguing about in the first place, but the Los Angeles Times says she is cooperating with investigators.
Rihanna has postponed her scheduled Feb. 13 concert in Malaysia, and her 21st birthday party, which was to take place at a club in New York City.
