Michael Jackson Neverland Ranch in Foreclosure

Michael Jackson has received notice that his Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara will be sold at public auction on March 19, 2008 unless he comes up with $24,525,906.61 to pay off the loan.  The auction will include all personal property inside, all fixtures, appliances, furniture, and the rides outside.

Neverland Ranch is worth about $7 million in the current real-estate market. On at least one other occasion this year, Michael missed payments on the $2 million mortgage.

 

Kanye's New Music Video w/ Rita-G "Flashing Light" Confusing

Some of Kanye West's video has nothing to do with the music.  However, his new video for his single "Flashing Lights" makes absolutely no sense.  The video features Rita G a Playboy Playmate from Houston and is co-directed by Spike Jonze.  The video starts by Rita G driving a car.  She stops, exits, walks away from the car, takes off a fur coat and then burns the coat.  All the time dressed in here underwear while wearing a thong. 50 Cent Baby Mama Get's $6.7K instead of $50K for Child Support

50 Cent (A.K.A. Marquis Jackson) must be very happy with the court's decision to give his money hungry baby mama (Shaniqua Tomkin) only $6,700 per month for child support instead of the ridiculous $50,000 per month she wanted.  $6,700 is still not chump change.  That's $80,400 per year to raise 1 child.

 

Ron Isley Ordered to Complete 37-Month Prison Sentence

Ron Isley will not be avoiding jail time.  The 66 year old Isley suffered a minor stroke in 2004 and is currently in poor health; however, he must complete his entire 37-month federal prison sentence for tax evasion.   Isley's lawyers argued before a three-judge panel that rejected the argument that the sentence is unreasonable due to his age, medical condition and lack of proof that the federal prison system can provide him adequate health care.

 

The Game Gets 60 Days in Jail

The Game (A.K.A. Jayceon Terrell Taylor) will be doing a 60-day lock-down (that's jail) after pleading no contest to felony possession of a firearm in a school zone. The Game was credited with two days already served toward the jail time and has to complete 150 hours of community service and a three-year probationary term.   

 

Ray J's & Brandy's Mother Suing Kim Kardashian for $120,000

Brandy's and Ray-J's mother Sonja Norwood is suing Kim Kardashian for making unauthorized charges on her American Express credit card that total more than $120,000. Sonja Norwood claims Kim Kardashian was authorized to use the card for one purchase in 2004 in her job as a stylist for both Brandy and Ray J. 

 

Michael Jackson Starts to Pay Off Debts

Michael Jackson is in some serious debt!  However, he has been taking steps for this huge debt situation.  Columnist Roger Friedman of Fox.com cites Santa Barbara County records that reveal MJ has finally satisfied a state tax lien on his Neverland Valley Ranch.  The total paid is a little over $600,000 including penalties and fees. The singer still owes $23 million on a defaulted loan taken against Neverland.

 

Jay-Z & Mary J. Blige Announce North American Tour

Jay-Z and Mary J. Blige will co-headline a 25-date, North American outing celled the "Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z: Heart of the City" tour.  The tour kicks off on March 22 at Miami's American Airlines Arena and will hit cities along the eastern seaboard as well as New Orleans, Houston, Las Vegas and Oakland.  The "Mary J. Blige & Jay-Z: Heart of the City" tour is the pinnacle of Mary and Jay's long-time collaboration which began in 1996 with the hit single "Can't Knock The Hustle."
