Lil Wayne Arrested on Drug & Possibly Weapon Charges

 | Look like a criminal, act like a criminal then you get arrested. This time it’s my boy Lil Wayne (A.K.A Michael Carter, Jr). Lil Wayne was arrested by DEA agents in Arizona on three serious felony drug charges. He was arrested yesterday, after police dogs went through his tour bus and sniffed out multiple drugs; including cocaine and ecstasy. |
Police found 105 grams of weed, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy, $22,000 dollars in cash and several firearms, including a 44 caliber pistol. Lil Wayne and 11 others were traveling along Interstate 8 near Yuma when they were stopped for inspection by a K-9 unit.
Lil Wayne does have a concealed weapon permit from Florida but not in Arizona laws where he was stopped. Lil Wayne and two other friends; 23-year-old Harold Johnson, Jr. and 24-year-old Curtis Stewart are still being held at the Yuma County jail.
Lil Wayne has been charged with possession of the cocaine and ecstasy, and possession of miscellaneous paraphernalia while the 2 other gentlemen are charged with possession of marijuana. Lil Wayne’s bond was set at $10,185 dollars, and Johnson and Stewart are being held on $3,009 bond.
