Jay-Z Ties Elvis Presley in No. 1 Albums

Jay-Z, A.K.A. Jigga, A.K.A., Shawn Carter is the man!  According to Nielsen SoundScan Jay-Z's new album titled "American Gangster" has sold 425,000 units in the U.S. last week becoming his 10th No. 1 album on The Billboard 200 chart. The official "American Gangster" soundtrack game in at No. 36 this week with 21,000 units sold. Jay-Z has tied Elvis Presley in second place for the most No. 1 albums on the chart.   

Jay-Z trails only the Beatles with 19. In the past nine years, all eight of Jay-Z's solo studio albums have reached No. 1, in addition to his "Collision Course" project with Linkin Park and his "Unfinished Business" collaboration with R. Kelly.
