Deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office raided DMX's (A.K.A. Earl Simmons) Arizona home after receiving a tip that several dogs were being mistreated. The police found 12 (two pit bulls, the rest mastiffs) tied up and the remains of three dogs buried in the back yard. The raid also turned up a variety of firearms and a half-pound of suspected illegal narcotics, according to reports. DMX was not at home when the raid took place.

It's no wonder because Jay-Z pulls in money from his records, as President of Def Jam, as co-owner of the NBA's New Jersey Nets and via numerous other ventures. Jay-Z is followed by 50 cent who made a total of $32 million. Diddy made $28 million, Tibaland $21 million and Dr. Dre $20 million.
