Smashing Pumpkins Has Two New Members

May 10, 2007 6:03 PM | Rock | Comments (0)

The Smashing Pumpkins has two new members. Seems like original guitarist James Iha and bassist D'arcy Wretzky will not be joining the band for their comeback reunion.  However, Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlain remain from the original band.

The group's new bassist is Ginger Reyes (formerly of the Halo Friendlies) and Iha's replacement will be Jeff Schroeder guitarist from Californian band Lassie Foundation. The Pumpkins are set to release their comeback album Zeitgeist on July 10. They will play their first gig of the year in Paris on May 22.
