Brad Delp - Lead Singer of Boston Has Died

Brad Delp, the lead singer for the band Boston, has died at the age of 55. The singer was found dead Friday in his home in southern New Hampshire. Brad Delp was born in Danvers, Massachusetts, with his interest in music beginning at 13 years old, when he purchased a guitar after seeing the Beatles perform on The Ed Sullivan Show.

In 1970, he was working at Mr. Coffee at Danvers company Hot-Watt when he met Boston founder Tom Scholz, guitarist Barry Goudreau and drummer Jim Masdea while playing in a cover band.
