In the past, "American Idol" has dropped contestants for actions unrelated to the show. Frenchie Davis was disqualified in 2003 because of her appearance on an adult Web site — but she bounced back with a role in the Broadway production of "Rent."

That Josh guy(march 16, 2007) actually had a point but he is SUCH a hypocrite. We are all good examples of the "dumb American" that gets lumped together with Bush when people from other countries make fun of us. Sadly, his grammar makes him the prime example. Josh, learn how to talk, write, think and speak before making an ass of yourself again. I'm even wondering if you are trying some tongue-in-cheek humor on in which case I applaud you. Otherwise, learn to speak/ write in either past or present tense (not both in the same sentence) or not at all. If you aren't either younger than 10, making some profound social statement or writing in a second language, you should be sacrificed (i.e. killed) to save humanity from your inadequate genes. I hope justice is served.

U americans are awesome. Pretending to look holier then pope U are forgetting the rules U proclaimed. The WHOLE FREAKIN" POINT of the AI is to take someone out of his ordinary, regular, full of trouble and mistake, life - and to make him/her a Cinderella of singing. Not even dancing - just singing. How can the previous miserable life of a singer affect the process of that proclaimed goal? It can only make a Magic more impressive. Right?
And by the way? Where is the logic? The real american Idols ARE way more pornographic. The are dying of drugs, they are practicing sexual disorderliness& Are You, voters, trying to punish Your own mass culture by not letting a young and sexually healthy girl to become the one she really is in fact - a singer, an artist? I'm surprise that she lasted as long as she did. But only good look whores can sing as bad as she did lasted that long. That's to also said how dumb/stupid and deaf of us as American audiences/voters. We can't hear, think and judge rationally anymore. We voted base on her looks and appearance and how many times she has spread her legs. I disagree w/ the previous comment. I think the show should drop her the same way they dropped Frenchie. I mean, adults are not the only ones watching this show. Parent's & children tune in together to watch. The last thing any parent needs is there 8,9, or 10 yr old daughter to associate this kind of behavior (Antonella's pix) w/ becoming famous. What kind of message will that send? That the more skin you show the more likely you are to obtain your goals. Don't get me wrong, had she been a contestant, say in ELimidate/Flava Flav then by all means prance around in your bday suit. We all know what those shows are about. But, American Idol, well, like I said it send mix message to teen girls out there.
