Give me a break with Tupac!

I know Tupac was a great rapper, but since his death, people treat him like he was this great person. To me Tupac had skills, but he was a lost soul. I've seen interviews with him when he was a youth and he had sense. Then I saw interviews of him when he was older and brother was gone!. He was lost. He made no sense when he spoke. It seems he got confused about why he was here on the planet. He began to spit at the cameras and people. He began to hold up his middle fingers to people. He got convicted of rape. He tattooed a machine gun on his stomach with a quote, "THUG LIFE". He rapped about killing people and degrading women.

I don't get why people immortalize him. To me Tupac was a very waste of talent who was a lost soul who desired to be a gangster, pimp, and a criminal.
