T.I. and Wife Arrested for Felony Possession of Controlled Substance

It seems like some people just never learn to stay out of trouble. Last night T.I. and wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle was arrested on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, T.I. was pulled over by police for making an illegal U-turn in his Maybach on Sunset Boulevard at about 10:30PM.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed that a controlled substance was found in the car described as an unspecified amount of pills that resembled ecstasy. Police is testing the pill.

There were other passengers in the car, but they weren't charged with any crimes.

T.I. and Tiny were released after posting a $10,000 bail early Thursday morning and are to appear in court on Friday (September 3).

T.I. is currently on probation after serving 7 months in prison for a felony gun charge, which was a violation of his probation from previous felony arrest.

Conditions of T.I.'s new probation includes supervised release for 3 years, DNA testing, drug counseling, a ban on owning firearms and an agreement to submit to reasonable searches.

According to TMZ.com, R&B singer Faith Evans was arrested for DUI early last Sunday near Marina Del Ray, California. Evans, once married to the late rapper Notorious B.I.G. (A.K.A. Christopher Wallace), was stopped at a checkout point where police officers detected alcohol. Evans was arrested for intoxication.

Fantasia is also named in a lawsuit between the married man and his wife, claiming the affair started in August 2009 and the couple has video taped their sexual encounters.
