About
History of the Troubled Album
I did not intend to make an album. I had just started building my home recording studio and realized that I did not have anyone to experiment on so I became the guinea pig. I had no previous experience in studio productions or recording but I have always wanted to have a recording studio. My aim was to be a producer, not an artiste but by experimenting with poetry pieces on dancehall and hiphop beats I started realizing that I had it in me to be an artiste. After recording a number of experimental pieces while testing various equipment and software in my studio as well as the acoustic environment, I ended up with an album, hence the birth of "Troubled", my experimental album. In the future, expect many more albums since I have been smitten by the recording bug. I didn't intend to be an artiste but they say life is what happens while you are busy making other plans. I am now ready to take my new craft seriously so expect to hear Amani blazing the tracks but this time with purpose...
