Terms of Service: (Please review carefully so you understand the process) 1 - Complete the online application which includes your sell price of your track(s) and agreeing to this Terms of Service. Then send us a sample of the track you want to sell. 2 - Upon receiving your application and track(s), we will review and determine if your track is sellable. We will be very selective in choosing tracks. We will not post poor tracks that are not worth selling! 3 - The buyer of your track is paying for permission to use your track. You, the producer will not receive a royalty from the sale of records produced from your track, however, you will retain the copyright to the music. Remember if your track becomes a hit, more than likely record labels will be interested in hearing more of your tracks. 4 - Visitors to the site will listen to your sample track(s). To protect your track(s), you can use various techniques such as: adding "white noise" randomly throughout an uploaded sample track, adding a pre-recorded vocal tag with your production company's name for instance, using an audio file with a lower (quality) bitrate, using a snippet instead of your entire track, etc. Of course, when you sell a track, the original track (high quality clean track) will be sent to the customer. 5 - You do not have to send the complete track to mZeus.com until a sale is made. Once a sale is made, mZeus.com will notify you that someone has purchased your track. You will immediately e-mail the original track to mZeus.com. Once mZeus.com receives the track, we will immediately pay you, via Pay-Pal, and e-mail the track to the customer. If you don't send the track within 24 hours, we will return the money to the customer and your track removed from the site, unless the customer decides to wait further. 6 - As a rule of thumb, always make sure all your music is copyright protected, but be aware that while some users may go to great lengths to steal your uploaded audio file and use looping techniques to recreate it, another buyer could still discover your track and buy it. You may also want to consider the intrinsic (promotional/marketing) value in certain cases of copyright abuse. For instance, if someone uses your track without your permission and it becomes number #1 somewhere, then if you can prove copyright ownership...they may have done you a favor because now you can go to a label and say "You know that song that's Number #1? I made that track...and I have more like it and some that are even better!" For more info on copyright law. See copyright 7 - mZeus.com will retain 25% of the cost of the track and send you the remaining 75%, after eliminating Pay-pal fees. Therefore, if a track sells for $100 and Pay-pal fees are $5, the remaining balance is $95. mZeus.com will retain 25% of $95 which equals $23.75. You the owner will get, $71.25. There are no fees to post your track to the site. You pay fees only when your track is sold. All transactions will be done via Pay-Pal.
